Teaching Philosophy
As an educator, I believe that students are entitled to a quality learning opportunity and that it is my duty to provide that to every child that walks into my classroom. I understand that every student learns differently, and that it is my responsibility to identify and appeal to individual learning needs. In order to create a functional and successful learning environment, it is necessary to establish multiple procedures and routines for students to follow. Fluidity and consistency in all daily activities and interactions are vital in creating an organized, respectful, classroom community. Furthermore, I believe parents play an invaluable role in their child's success in the classroom, and I encourage regular and open communication between parent, student, and teacher. Ultimately, I acknowledge my job and privilege as an educator is to yield productive, contributing members of society and provide them with opportunities to brighten their futures.
